(KDIC) Rewards for Information on Assets Hidden

by People Implicated in a Financial Firm Failure

▲ Under Article 21-2 of the Depositor Protection Act, the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation(KDIC) receives tips and information regarding assets hidden by people implicated in a financial firm failure at its Concealed Property Report Center in order to recover public funds injected into failed financial firms.

☞ The term “people implicated in a financial firm failure” means former  and current officers and senior management who are responsible for the failure of a financial firm and borrowers of the failed firm who failed to honor their debts.

☞ “Hidden Assets” refers to all types of assets stashed at home or abroad, including real estate properties, movable assets, bank deposits, legal claims and cryptocurrencies, by people implicated in a financial firm failure.

▲ You can make a report even though you do not have the full details and your identity and contact details will be kept strictly confidential.

▲ If a report leads to a recovery of assets, you will be eligible for an award of not more than three billion won per report.

▲ You can help us to recover more money for the government by making a report. We sincerely ask for your interest and active participation.
