‘2013 Young Business Leaders Forum
Overseas Koreans Foundation (OKF) plans to host『The 121h World Korean business Convention』at Kimdaejung Convention Center, Gwangju from Oct. 29 to Oct.31, 2013. In conjunction with this convention, we plan to hold 『Young Business Leaders Forum』 by inviting young overseas Korean businessmen working in local industries. We look forward to hosting young overseas Korean businessmen who will become leaders of future.
1. Outline
○ Period : Oct. 28 ~ Oct. 31, 2013
○ Venue : Kimdaejung Convention Center, Gwangju
○ Participants: About 100 people (overseas :80 , domestic: 20 )

-18:00~21:00 : Night of Young Business Leaders(Ice breaking)
○ Day 1(Tue., Oct. 29)
- 10:00~12:00 : Young Business Leader Forum I
- 14:00~17:00 : Young Business Leader Forum II
○ Day 2(Wed., Oct. 30)
- 10:00~17:00 : Business Networking Seminars
○ Day 3(Thur., Oct.31)
- 10:00~12:00 : Internal meeting
- 14:00~17:00 : Business meeting
- 18:00~21:00 : Closing Ceremony & Farewell dinner

3. Application information
□ Requirements
○ Age : Under 45 years old
○ CEO or equivalent professional businessmen who have entered into mainstream societies as green card holders or citizens working overseas
○ People in charge of finding out and training young businessmen as key officers of overseas Korean economic organizations
○ Young business leaders who are successful or recognized as businessmen in residing countries while they are recommended by Korean diplomatic offices and overseas Korean economic organizations
□ Application procedures
○ An application form should be completed online only, , and make sure the deadline (May 15th).

- Login our website → Fill out an application form → ‘Complete’ button
○ Apply via local Korean diplomatic offices
- Login our website → Fill out an application form → ‘Complete’ button → Print out or save it as MS word file→ Submit the form and documents to Korean diplomatic offices
□ Documents for submission
○ Fill out an application form (with photo : more than 100kb)
※ A new applier should have a recommender and attach the letter of recommendation.
○ Korean or English resume (The form is not fixed)
○ A copy of passport copy or citizenship copy
○ A copy among certificate of enrollment, certificate of career (Issued by company) and business license (certificate)
○ Company or Business Overview PPT (under 10pages)
○ Other evidence data of career (Only for those who are corresponding)
※ Articles in journals and newspapers, records of receiving awards, research and corresponding field thesis and etc
□ Application schedule
○ Period or Application : By May 15
※ Please check a local deadline those who apply via local Korean diplomatic offices.
○ Notification to participants : By July
※ Korean diplomatic offices and Individual notification
○ Selection procedures
- Submission an application and documents → Examination by OKF → Notification of selectees→ Hansang Convention registration →Individual arrival in Korea
4. Support and Participation fee
□ Support of participants
○ Accommodation : 4Nights (10/28~10/31, 2 for1 room)
○ Meals : Official luncheons and banquets
○ Programs : Business programs, seminars & official programs and etc
※ Participants are responsible for airfare
□ Participation fees
○ New entry : No fee
○ More than once : USD 250
※ The participation fee is subject to change depending on the hotel.
