MPVA Presents Taegukgi Plaques to Families Honored for Generations of Service

• On the afternoon of the 21st (Tuesday) at 2:30 PM, Minister Kang Jung-ai of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will present "Taegukgi (Korean Flag) Commemorative Plaques" to 11 Families of Honor invited to the MPVA Seoul Regional Office.• The "Families of Honor" include 10 uniformed service members who continued the legacy of their predecessors who were independence or national merit awardees, as well as Professor David Linton (naturalized, Korean name In Dae-wi), a descendant of an American independence activist and a UN Korean War veteran.• The commemorative plaques made from the "Taegukgi," symbolizing the Republic of Korea, convey the message of "eternal remembrance."• Minister Kang stated, "By continuously promoting the 'Families of Honor' initiative, we will strive to achieve Honoring Patriots and Veterans in Our Daily Lives with Everyone,' where the public remembers, respects, and expresses gratitude for the dedication of these individuals in their everyday lives."
