The revamped website of Study in Korea has been launched with a next-generation system based on artificial intelligence (AI).

Run by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED), the official government site offers information on studying in the country. Since 2012, its functions have included hosting an online fair for studying in Korea and submissions of digital applications.

The revamp features a 24-hour intelligent consultation service based on AI and automatic translation for over 100 languages.

Stronger services support digital and remote promotion of studying in Korea and help international students better settle in the country.

The new system has more responsiveness for higher user convenience and a method of customized content based on analysis of visitor behavioral data.

The NIIED said, "The next-generation Study in Korea (www.studyinkorea.go.kr) is expected to allow foreign students wishing to study in Korea to more efficiently search for information and access one-stop service from admission to employment."
