Badminton superstar An Se Young has won the Orleans Masters championships of the Badminton World Federation.
The women's world No. 1 on March 9 beat China's Chen Yufei in straight sets in Orleans, France, to become the first Korean to win a singles title at this tournament.
Leading early on in the contest, An won with scores of 21-14 and 21-15.
She punctuated her top world ranking with her third consecutive win at a global tournament. Earlier this year, she claimed the Malaysian Open and the Indian Open.
Meanwhile, Korea also won the women's and men's doubles titles on the same day. For the women, Kim Hye Jeong and Kong Hee Yong won in straight sets and for the men, the team of Kang Min Hyuk and Ki Dong-ju triumped, 2-1.
