□ Overseas Koreans Foundation (OKF) (President Young-Kon Kwon) carries out ‘2010 Invitation Training of Teachers of Korean Language Schools in CIS Region’ at Hanyang University (Ansan ERICA Campus) for four weeks from July 13, 2010 for reinforcing educational competence of teachers of Korean Language Schools in CIS Region.
□ In this training, 35 teachers of Korean Language Schools (15 from Russia, 6 from Uzbekistan, 6 from Kazakhstan, 2 from Kyrgyzstan, 2 from Ukraine, 1 from Moldova and 1 from Belarus) of 8 countries, which is the largest scale in the history are participating. (In 2009, 25 teachers of 6 countries had participated.)
□ Training programs for four weeks are composed of the contents required for Korean Language education and Korean culture education including practices of traditional culture such as △ Korean Language education per level in division of classes (Beginning & Middle class) △learning folksong, paper folding, practicing Korean dance and etc and cultural experiencing trips to △Seoul, Jeonju, Ansan and Yeoju regions. □ President Young-Kon Kwon of Overseas Koreans Foundation (OKF) said that “we hope participants will initiate and lead in distributing Korean language and Korean culture to next generation based on their knowledge and actual experiences of learning Korean language and development of the motherland when they return to their residing countries.”
