On the occasion of Ocean Day on May 31, 2022, four organizations—Overseas Korean Foundation (OKF), Korea Foundation (KF), Government Employees Pension Service (GEPS), and KOSPO Namjeju Thermal Power Plant HQ—conducted a joint beach cleanup at Jungmun Saekdal Beach in Saekdal-dong, Seogwipo-si. The OKF manages Jungmun Saekdal Beach as an adopted beach as part of the Adopt-A-Beach program where companies and organizations help maintain and care for a particular beach.
