World Korean Business Convention
Greetings
Greetings respected overseas and domestic Korean business leaders,
The 20th World Korean Business Convention is an event where Korean businesspeople from around the world gather to establish a global network and broaden the economic horizons of Koreans. The three-day convention will start on Tuesday November 1st at the Ulsan Exhibition & Convention Center.
With only 968 participants from 28 countries attending its inaugural event in 2002, the Convention has grown into the biggest event for global Korean business leaders, with approximately 3,000 participants from around 60 countries attending the Convention each year.
Over the past two decades, the Convention has played the role of a global hub that helps local small and medium-sized enterprises expand their businesses overseas and has cultivated interactions between overseas and domestic Korean businesses. Although the Convention was cancelled or reduced in size due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the past couple of years, this year, under the theme of “Celebrating 20 Years of Korean Business Global Partnership”, we are determined to surpass the achievements of the previous years.
Ulsan Metropolitan City, the host city for this year's Convention, is a city where the historic Unified Silla culture resides as a symbol of Korea's industrial and economic advancement. Ulsan, with its goals to become an ecofriendly new industrial city and with its infinite pursuit of changes, is preparing to attract outstanding domestic companies and startups that will assist Hansang members with practical business opportunities and support.
We hope that many of our Hansang leaders and members join us at the 20th World Korean Business Convention from November 1st to 3rd. We hope you all have a productive and fabulous time when you visit Korea again and take back home with you wonderful memories of the homeland.
In addition, we hope the Convention provides you with opportunities to create valuable business outcomes to contribute to next year's Convention which will be held in the USA.
The Convention next year will be held in October in California, USA and we look forward to the interest in the Convention from domestic and overseas business people so that the Convention can establish itself firmly on the world stage, beyond Korea.
